Competition Entries

I Am Me Scotland decided to offer every Primary School in Renfrewshire a chance to win the Cinebus for a Fun Day during the last week of term, where the pupils could watch Christmas movies and eat sweeties! To win, we asked pupils to design posters, drawings or a comic strip inspired by anti-bullying or our Cinebus. We could not believe the amount of entries that came flooding in through our mailbox!

Have a look at all the amazing artwork we received here!

Tackling Disability Hate Crime Comic

Take a look at this AMAZING comic that was created by an extremely talented group of individuals from Advocating Together Dundee and Dundee Safe Place initiative. They worked alongside Dundee Creative Comic Space to come up with this creative and educational comic about Tackling Disability Hate Crime.

Representatives from DCCS, Advocating Together, The Rank Foundation, Police Scotland, and invited guests were in attendance at the launch to help cut the cake marking the culmination of months of hard work producing the comic.

The comic demonstrates examples of disability hate crime, and then gives advice on what to do if it is experienced. This includes reporting to the Police and using Keep Safe places.
